HOW TO MAKE A TAPA CLOTH

SKETCHING SHELLS

Firstly, we drew shells on scrap paper. We chose our best sketch. We sketched just the outlines and main lines in the shell

TRANSFERRING DESIGN

Next we transferred the best shell design onto cardboard. We also added a border with different patterns. Then we went over the main lines with black vivid.

SCRUNCHING IT UP
Finally, we scrunched it up 50 times. We did that so that it would become soft like a cloth. It felt soft.

Adding Colour

Finally, we added colour to our design. We used brown and black pastels. Mine looked like a real Tapa cloth and I felt happy about my design.
